A Southern Cross 3" x 5" piston pump - and yet another high-header!

This pump is in really good condition and ready to go. It has be stripped down, sandblasted, undercoated and repainted and has had the standard new wet-end maintenance kit fitted. As well as that, it also has a new liner, new pinion shaft, new crosshead pin and bush and the big end has been machined and had a bronze bush installed!

Being a 3" x 5" pump, it has the capacity to deliver between 660 and 1100 gallons per hour for you to a head of 500 feet. It has a 1.5" suction and discharge.

 

The photos of this pump are limited in number and have been taken at odd angles, but that is because it was placed/stored in amongst other finished pumps prior to taking the photos!
