This is our "Dolly Parton" pump - it wears a "coat of many colours"! This combination came about because we had two pumps which each had one end worn or damaged, though the opposite ends were in a more-than viable condition - so, we made them into one very usable unit!

Generally, 2.5" x 3" pumps are the most sought-after size - they provide an economical option in terms of pipe size needing a minimum of only 1.25", they have a maximum head of 250 feet and will deliver to that head needing only 1.5 non-electric horsepower to drive them when running the pump at the recommended 250 rpm at the pump.

This combination of a DGM branded Nevertire power end coupled to a Forrers wet-end actually means that it is a Forrers pump through and through. All DGM/Nevertire pumps carry Forrers part numbers because they were made by Forrers but badged differently for specialised distributors. There are no concerns about replacement parts should any be needed down the track because we hold a good range of parts for these pumps.

This pump has been kitted out with a new cylinder liner, new piston rod, new wet-end maintenance kit (buckets, valve rubbers, valve springs, gaskets and gland packing), new valve studs and new bolts all round. It is right to go!
