The power end is ready and now the wet-end has been returned and fitted so it is ready to be sent out.

This high-head pump has been given the usual going-over. After being stripped down and given an initial clean, it was then sandblasted, undercoated and reassembled. New parts fitted during the rebuild were: piston rod, piston plates x 2, centre plate and a full wet-end kit (buckets x 2, valve springs x 4, valve rubbers x 4, gaskets and packing).

This pump is still waiting on a new by-pass valve to be fitted which will be done prior to delivery.

Again, we were pleasantly suprised when we checked out the main gear and the pinion - they are in amazing condition with years of work ahead of them.

This pump has 1.25" suction and discharge and will pump to a 500 feet head. It will deliver 500 gallons per hour at 50 strokes per minute and will need approximately 2-3 hp (electric) to deliver to its maximum head.
