With their sealed, bolt-on lids, the Southern Cross pumps seem to retain the integrity of the power-end much more so than their competitors.
We have long admired the workmanship and longevity of all piston pumps. These three Southern Cross pumps are in quite amazing condition, particularly their gearboxes.
These pumps are listed separately within this site and are numbered HH06, HH07 and XTRAS OC1.
Take the time to admire the quality of these pumps. Though these three pumps are two different sizes, the gearboxes are fully interchangeable. This same gearbox powers the full Southern Cross range of 5" stroke pumps, including the 2.5" x 5", the 3" x 5", the 4" x 5" and the 5" x 5" pumps.
The certainly "don't make them like they used to"!
