These Ajax A2s will just keep on keeping on and pump to a maximum head of 250 feet. Their suction and discharge outlets are 1.25". That means, should you choose to do so, that your delivery pipe will only need to be 1.25" - however, it is strongly recommended that a larger pipe is installed to help overcome friction when pumping. This pump will deliver 300 gallons per hour and it will need a minimum of 0.75 hp (electric) to deliver that at 50 strokes per minute.

This pump is living proof that "looks are only skin deep"! It has a lot of life ahead ot it and will run like a champion, given the chance.It may have a black lid, a red pulley and a grey body, but the multi-colours will not affect its functionality.

In terms of new parts, it is now sporting a new piston rod, new centre plate, new piston plates, a new wet-end maintenance kit (buckets, valve rubbers, valve springs, packing and a set of gaskets) and new bolts all round.
