Ajax A3s have a 3" bore and a 4" stroke. They will pump to a maximum head of 250 feet. Their suction and discharge outlets are 1.5". Therefore you will need a delivery pipe of a minimum diameter of 1.5". To its maximum head, it will deliver just under 600 gallons per hour and it will need at minimum of 1 hp (electric) to deliver that at 50 strokes per minute. 

This pump came to us in this condition pretty much. We have added a new 14" double A-section aluminium pulley. Everything else checked out OK and is offered to you as ready to go to work!
